OVERVIEW OF OVERLOUD TH-U PREMIUM

Overloud TH-U Premium is a comprehensive platform for modeling guitar and bass tones, developed for guitarists, music producers, recording engineers, and sound designers. It covers a vast spectrum of guitar sounds by combining amplifier modeling, rig capturing, cabinet simulation, and Impulse Response (IR) processing. This software features an extensive range of guitar and bass amplifiers, cabinets, pedal effects, rack effects, and microphone models, along with over 1,000 factory presets. Users can customize their sound by adjusting amplifier parameters, swapping out virtual tubes, blending microphone positions, and experimenting with various effects.

TH-U Premium also includes “Rig Player” technology, which replicates real-world guitar setups. A flexible signal chain supports creative sound design, while MIDI control allows for easy preset switching and live performance configuration. The software can be used as a standalone application or as a plug-in within compatible Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs). Whether for studio recording, guitar practice, or live performance, Overloud TH-U Premium offers a versatile toolkit for crafting professional-grade guitar and bass tones.

FEATURES OF OVERLOUD TH-U PREMIUM

REALISTIC AMPLIFIER MODELING

TH-U Premium includes an extensive collection of guitar and bass amplifier models designed to replicate the sound and response of actual hardware. Users can create a wide range of tones—from clean and bluesy to gritty, high-gain sounds—suitable for various musical styles.

COMPREHENSIVE CABINET AND MICROPHONE SIMULATION

The software features guitar and bass cabinets with customizable microphone setups. Users can select different microphone models, adjust their positioning, and combine multiple microphones to shape the tonal character and spatial qualities of the sound.

COLLECTION OF BUILT-IN EFFECTS

TH-U Premium offers a comprehensive suite of effects—available as both stompboxes and rack-mounted units—including distortion, overdrive, modulation, delay, reverb, and various other sound-processing tools. These effects help musicians create unique tones without the need for a wide array of external hardware.

RIG CAPTURING TECHNOLOGY

The Rig Player replicates captured guitar setups—encompassing the characteristics of amplifiers, cabinets, microphones, and other elements. This allows users to explore authentic guitar tones based on their existing physical equipment.

ADVANCED TONE SHAPING

Amp Tweak technology enables users to modify virtual pre-amp and power-amp tube models, simulating variable behavioral characteristics. Fluid IR (Impulse Response) processing and flexible signal routing provide further control over cabinet response and the overall sonic character.

PRESETS AND MIDI CONTROL

The software includes over 1,000 factory presets covering a diverse range of musical genres. Users can save custom sounds, organize patches, and control parameters via a compatible MIDI controller, making it suitable for both studio recording and live performances.
